Week 4 Preview

PGF 2026 Season, Week 4 Preview: Jett and the Kings Set the Pace, but Alabama Still Has the Best Shot to Break It

Week 4 starts the back half with the Kings at 97, Jett Thompson at 44, and the Twisters still close enough that one big Wednesday can put the pressure right back on Las Vegas.

Kevin Beuhring of the Alabama Twisters reacts during PGF action in Las Vegas.

LAS VEGAS - Week 4 arrives with the board finally separated and still unsettled. The Kings lead the team race at 97, the Twisters sit second at 80, and the individual title fight now runs through Jett Thompson at 44 with Kevin Beuhring chasing at 36.

That is why March 25 feels bigger than a normal Wednesday. There are only two regular-season nights left before the April 8 playoffs, and the back half opens with Las Vegas trying to make the lead feel real while Alabama tries to drag the race back into reach.

Five Week 4 Matchups That Matter

MatchupWeek 4 SlotWhy It Matters
Jett Thompson vs Noah McCullyBlock AThe athlete leader opens Week 4 against a dangerous Phenoms finisher who can change the board fast.
Shawn Melanson vs Kevin BeuhringBlock BBeuhring has to keep answering, and Melanson is exactly the kind of spoiler who can slow that chase.
Austin Oranday vs Caleb CrumpBlock BOranday is tied at 34, and Crump is the kind of Wolverine who can wreck the script with one finish.
Austin Oranday vs Kevin BeuhringBlock CTwo of the top four scorers meet late in one of the clearest leverage matches on the card.
Chuy Magana vs Elijah CarltonBlock CWeek 3's standings swing carries straight into a matchup between two of the night's proven point movers.

The Kings' advantage is still depth. Thompson leads the board, but Austin Oranday is tied for third, Chuy Magana keeps finding late momentum, and Cam Hurd has turned himself into another match changer. Las Vegas has more than one way to win a Wednesday, which is why the lead has held even when Alabama lands punches.

The Twisters, though, still have the best shot to make this uncomfortable fast. Beuhring and Carlton are both in range, the team is only one huge night away from making the race feel tight again, and Week 3 proved they can still pressure the leaders even when they do not leave with the better headline.

Philadelphia and Colorado should matter here too. Derek Rayfield finally jumped back into the season in Week 3, Andrew Kochel and Shawn Melanson are still close enough to the playoff line to change their outlook quickly, and the Wolverines remain the kind of team that can blow up someone else's plan even if they are chasing from behind.

Week 3 felt like a statement. Week 4 is where the answer has to come. If the Kings control another night, the stretch run starts looking like theirs. If Alabama bites back, the whole second half gets louder in a hurry.
